School Production - MOANA Jr 2024

Opening night of the school production, Disney’s Moana JR was a hit! It was 60-minutes of amazing dance, music and storytelling showcased by the committed students and staff of our College.  The musical is based on the 2016 Disney animated movie Moana, about the strong-willed daughter of the chief of a Polynesian village, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with a goddess. When a blight strikes her island, Moana sets sail in search of Maui, a legendary demigod, in the hope of returning the heart of Te Fiti and saving her people. The musical features songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Opetaia Foa'i.

The production was well attended by the community and staff alike. Performers were nervous with opening night jitters but once the show was on the road the nerves melted away and their professionalism shone through.
