ENPS School News

Introducing David Foley and Tandy Johnson

Principal News - Term 3 Week 6

This week we have had a wonderful time celebrating Book Week. Students have been involved in buddy activities, shared book readings and  on Tuesday morning we held our parade. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces as students came across each other dressed as favourite book characters.  It was evident that many families had spent time working on costumes and the opportunity to show off this work to the whole school was fun. Staff also enjoyed the opportunity to dress up!

The week also included our Get Your Arts on Experience with illustrator Marc McBride. All of the students participated in a workshop with Marc where they were shown airbrush painting skills, saw lots of Marc’s work and then were able to apply some of the skills that Marc had shared with our students. The students have produced some fantastic pieces inspired by Marc’s techniques.

On Monday we will be holding a stall in the hall to enable students to select a gift for a significant person in their lives. If you haven’t already done so, pop onto Compass to consent for your child to participate. Thank you in advance to all of the families who are helping with this. Without the support of families we wouldn’t be able to run events like this for the students so we appreciate any time that people are able to give.

During the week you will also have received a compass feed and facebook post about this year’s family camp at Healesville. Thank you to Linda and James Box for leading this event. There are still spaces if your family would like to join other families in a fun weekend.
