Therapy Dog in Training

We have a very special guest with us onsite here at DCS. Her name is Winnie and she is in training to be a therapy dog. To help her be the best therapy dog she can be, please be mindful of the following guidelines from her handler:

  • Please refrain from calling out her name when you see her.
  • Approach slowly, quietly and calmly.
  • Speak to the handler first.
  • Ask before giving a pat.

We encourage you to talk to your children about this special role and how important it is that we follow these guidelines. We are excited to see the blessing Winnie will be to the DCS Community.

Kinder Enrolments 2026 and 2027

We are continuing to have a large number of Kinder enquiries right through until 2030!

If you currently have students at DCS and have a Kinder student for 2026 or 2027, please ensure that we have their enrolment enquiry as we have commenced processing 2026 Kinder enrolments. If you are unsure, please contact enrolments@dcs.tas.edu.au and we will check for you.

If you have not yet completed an Enrolment Enquiry form, please go to our school website https://www.dcs.tas.edu.au/enrolments/ and click on the enrolment enquiry button to complete an enrolment form.
