Mrs Mauriks
Hello families,
Recently I was talking with our school psychologist, Naddia, about supports that are out there for our families. There are so many untapped resources, which are free and offer excellent tools and strategies for families. One Naddia mentioned was the Triple P online course, for parents with children under 12 years of age. This is a free, evidence-based program, which offers practical strategies to help parents manage their child's behaviour, promote positive interactions, and enhance their emotional well-being. Naddia said she thinks this course would benefit every parent.
You can register for this free course by visiting the Triple P Parenting website at https://www.triplep-parenting.net.au/au/free-parenting-courses/triple-p-online-under-12/
The modules they offer are:
Module 1: What is positive parenting?
Module 2: Encouraging behaviour you like
Module 3: Teaching new skills
Module 4: Managing misbehaviour
Module 5: Dealing with disobedience
Module 6: Planning ahead to prevent problems
Module 7: Making shopping fun
Module 8: Raising confident, capable kids
I hope this is helpful for some of you.
Have a great week and take care everyone.
