This week in Writing, the Grade 2s are collaboratively creating narratives.

VOCABULARY

Collaboratively means working together with others to achieve a goal.

Narratives are stories that describe events, often with a beginning, middle, and end.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Using the structure and guiding questions, plan a narrative with a family member. Make sure you think about the following things:

• Settings
• Plots
