Home School Partnership – What a difference it makes!

We know that a strong home school partnership is crucial to support your child's learning journey.  At Greenhills, we are continually trying to enhance the communication we provide to families regarding what is happening at school and about your child’s progress. Understanding and showing interest in what your child is doing in the classroom is a key part of this relationship.

When parents engage in conversations about learning, ask questions, and take interest in their child’s classroom activities, it sends a powerful message about the value of education. The regular discussions you have with your child about their day, activities they have been involved in, or even challenges they face can foster a sense of pride and ownership in their learning. Understanding what your child is working on, what goals they are setting, and how they are progressing not only deepens your connection with their experience but also helps you celebrate their achievements. It also provides you the opportunity to understand the challenges they face and therefore you can help to guide them through these challenges.

We encourage you to celebrate every aspect of your child’s learning journey, not just their successes, but also the challenges they face along the way.

Also, remember that we are always willing and open to discussions about your child’s learning.
