Tally kids are scientists! Our Year 2, 3 and 4 students are taught Science by the wonderful Mrs Holbourn. Have a look at what they have been learning about this term.

Year 2

Year 2 students are learning about Earth's resources. This week students did an observation of the different types of soil around Tallebudgera. They identified the different properties, types and purpose from a variety of locations around our school. 

Year 3

Our Year 3 students are looking at changing states of matter and what happens when heat is added to a variety of solids. 

Year 4

Our Year 4 students are learning about properties of fabrics. The task is to design an outfit for an occupation of choice. Taking in to consideration the properties of each material used and how it suits its purpose.
