Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser
On Sunday a small but dedicated team of volunteers manned the Bunnings BBQ Sausage Sizzle. We experienced typical Melbourne weather - four seasons in one day but were lucky that it didn't deter shoppers from getting their snags! We made a profit of $2003 - a great start to paying for some of our 2025 Fair costs. We were visited by so many SMCM families on the day and all the students paid their 'sausage tax' - having their photo taken by Claire!
A very big thank you to Corina and Dominic Ragona (Scarlett and Salvatore's parents), Steve and Angela Micallef (Scarlett and Romeo's parents), Damian (Elliott's dad), Matt (Milania's Dad), Sharuen (Amber's Mum), Mina (Leon's mum), Kristy (Luca's mum), Margaret, (Isaac's mum), Martin (Lucas' mum). Without the support of volunteer parents, these events cannot be successful.
We will require more volunteers at our sausage sizzle at our End of Year Carols Picnic on Thursday 5th December. Don't forget, every time you volunteer you go into the draw to win an Academy Uniforms voucher. What you also get though, is the joy of seeing your children so proud to have you as an active member of their school.
If you are able to assist in the evening of the 5th of December, please contact kristie.hocking@smcmeppingnth.catholic.edu.au
