Upcoming End-of-Year Reporting

At SMCM, we value our partnership with families in supporting student learning and celebrating achievements. As we approach the end of the academic year, we are excited to share important information about your child’s progress.

What You Need to Know About Student Reports

These reports provide a snapshot of your child’s learning growth and progression against the Victorian Curriculum and Religious Education Framework. They offer valuable insights into your child’s academic journey.

When Will You Receive the Reports?

All students will receive a printed copy of their Semester Two Progression Report on Friday 13th December.

What information is used by schools to complete semester reports?

The information in your child’s Progression Report is supported by a range of work samples throughout the semester. This includes post-tests, work samples, anecdotal notes and a range of other forms of assessment.

During last week's Learning Conversations, you would have been provided with insight into your child's latest academic outcomes. This will also be reflected in the end-of-year report.

More details about a breakdown of student reports will be provided in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership in nurturing our students’ growth. If you have any further inquiries, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher.
