Phillip Island Camp
I wanted to share how much I enjoyed our recent Year 3&4 camp and to thank everyone involved in making it such a fantastic experience.
Seeing the students challenge themselves and achieve so many wonderful things was brilliant.
A special thank you goes out to all our dedicated staff and parents who helped throughout the camp, especially Mrs. Pratt, who did a brilliant job organising every detail. Managing and coordinating 120 students is no small feat, and her hard work ensured that everything ran smoothly, and everyone felt supported.
Camps like these are such valuable opportunities for our students to grow and to take on new challenges. We are so proud of what they accomplished, and I know it wouldn’t have been possible without your support at home and the dedication of our wonderful staff. Thank you again for your trust and for sharing your amazing children with us on this adventure
A Ditty to Our Campers
Phillip Island Camp, we’ve just begun, we’re having so much fun.
First stop was San-Remo for snacks by the bay, the pelicans joined us, they just couldn’t stay away. Then off to camp, with a big “Hi Ho”. Our cabins are cozy, with a warm, friendly glow.
Excitement’s bubbling, we’re ready to soar, the flying fox calls, who could want more?
The Penguin Parade was a highlight for sure.
Day 2 arrived with the sun’s gentle light, after a short sleep, we’re up for the fight.
High ropes, low ropes, archery thrills, rock-climbing, cooking, conquering hills.
The high swing awaited, a challenge so tall, Mrs. Pratt took the plunge, and she showed us all. Miss Atkinson squealed, her nerves put to the test, we ended with movies and a
well-deserved rest.
Day 3 started with one last chance,to soak up the fun, to run, laugh, and dance. Smith’s Beach was stunning with waves crashing near, building sandcastles together our excitement was clear.
A final stop at Cowes, for lunch and play, thank you, teachers and parents, for making our day.
With memories made and hearts feeling light, our Phillip Island Camp was pure delight!
I hope you have a restful weekend with family and friends.
Warm regards,
Karen Rouda
