Water Safety Lessons Information (starting 22 November)

Dear Parents and Carers,

All students will be involved in weekly Water Safety and Familiarisation lessons for later this term, starting Friday, 22nd November. These lessons are part of the NSW PDHPE syllabus and play an important role in your child's education.

It is expected that your child will attend these lessons.

Please note that our Sports Day will continue on Mondays each week with Platform & Co (Jake and Ellie). Students are required to wear their sports uniforms on Mondays and on the following specified dates:

Friday, 22nd November
Friday, 29th November
Thursday, 5th December
Tuesday, 10th December

Students should wear their sports uniform and bring their swimmers, a rash shirt, towel, slip-on shoes, and sunscreen. Additionally, please provide a plastic or suitable bag for wet swimming attire.

There will be no entry fee of $2 or season ticket required for these events.

If your child is unable to participate but will still attend school, a message outlining why should be communicated to their classroom teacher via note or email.

School Hat Reminder: No Hat, No Play!

Please ensure your child is bringing their school hat each day. We are a sun-safe school and encourage all children to wear it during playtime.

Please also note that caps are not permitted on uniform days.

Uniforms can be purchased online with Made for School (excluding school hats, school bags, and Girls' Blue Checked Shorts) at https://bit.ly/3P0OrHj.

Please note that you must be signed in with a Made for School account to add more than one item to your cart. You can also create an account via the Register page or sign in automatically using your Google or Apple account.

Orders placed before 1 pm AEST will ship the same day and are sent directly to your street or postal box address via tracked Australia Post. Please note that some large orders cannot ship to postal boxes. If this is the case, please use the school address, and we will let you know when it has arrived.

Please note that the 'Y' and 'G' in front of some products differentiate the range/brand.

School hats, school bags and a limited supply of new and secondhand uniform items (including Girls Blue Checked Shorts) are available to purchase at the school office.

Uniforms are available to try on at the school. If you would like to make an appointment for your child to try on a uniform, please contact the school office.

Volunteering

This is just a reminder that, wherever possible, all volunteers must have a current Working With Children’s Check.

What will I need?

How do I apply?

Visit the Service NSW website
Select the 'Apply online' button.
Select 'Apply for your Check'.
Select 'Continue and apply'.
Complete the online form, ensuring the name you enter matches your identity documents exactly.
Visit a service centre to present your original identity documents.

What will it cost?

Applying for a Volunteer WWCC is FREE.
