IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YEAR 10 STUDENTS
We wish to share some important information with you regarding upcoming events for Year 10 students.
Semester 2 Year 10 Exams
These will be held in the Jubilee Centre (JC) on Friday 29 November and Monday 2 December. Students will receive their exam schedule later this term.
Attendance at the exams is compulsory. Exams will only be rescheduled if a student provides a medical certificate.
Year 11 2025 Senior Student Transition Interviews
These interviews involving parents, students and staff from the St Mary MacKillop College Pathways Team will be held from Monday 25 to Thursday 28 November.
These interviews are considered an important step into Year 11, and aim to provide another opportunity to discuss subjects, career pathways and how we can best work together to support each student in their learning. Further information on interview times and how to make a booking through PAM will be shared over the coming weeks.
Year 11 2025 Orientation Week
The Year 11 2025 orientation program will start on Tuesday 3 December and conclude on Thursday 5 December.
The orientation program provides an opportunity for students to familiarise themselves with the subjects they are studying in 2025, to start their learning for next year, and to set up for success in their academic studies before the start of next year. Students will also receive homework they are expected to complete over the holidays.
Attendance at all orientation week classes is compulsory. The end date for Year 10 students will be Thursday 5 December. Students are expected to be at school until this date. We ask for your support in this matter.
Please let me know if you have any questions. We wish your child success in their exams and orientation classes.
Yours sincerely,
Nathan Lane
Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning
