El Salvador Cross

It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce the arrival of our beautifully handcrafted cross from El Salvador.  This was the gift purchased with money donated by Year 6, 2024.

Thank you, Year 6, 2024! The cross will be carried with pride during our entrance processions at Mass and it will hang proudly in our hallway for everyone to admire. We will treasure it!

St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal

Traditionally the Holy Family community have supported the Vinnie’s Christmas Hamper Appeal and we will do this again this year.

Christmas is just around the corner and the senior students are eager to begin packing boxes, but they need your help!

The hampers will provide families in need with some food this Christmas. Each class has been allocated a product.

We would like students to please start collecting these from the class list below to supplement each hamper.

Items can be brought to school and placed into the St Vincent de Paul Christmas baskets located in your child's classroom.

The closing date to bring in all products will be Monday, 17th November (Week 6).

Stir it Up Sunday!
Stir it Up Sunday!

Want to make a real steamed Christmas Pudding with your child to take to your family Christmas lunch for dessert? Why not come to this fun family weekend initiative run by Carolyn Packwood's mother Judy! (Austin's Grandmother) She is a seasoned Christmas pudding maker, a YouTube phenomenon and all the ingredients come prepared for you. (A list of a few things you will need to bring will be emailed to you a week before the event.)  Children almost essential so don't worry about booking the babysitter. This is for Holy Family families and their friends.

Register via the QR code BY NOVEMBER 14 with payment per family. You can pay to make more than one pudding per family so if for example there are four children "Stirring it up" then maybe pay for 2 puddings! All money will cover Judy Gill's costs with any leftover going to our Vinnies Christmas Appeal.  A list of things to bring will be sent to all who have registered.

"Carols and Cuisine" Helpers Needed for Friday 5 December

WE NEED HELPERS TO DISH OUT THE FOOD ON THIS DAY BEFORE THE CONCERT. Food always brings people together, but someone has to HELP SERVE it up! We have 10 chefs from the school who are cooking for us but they need some helpers to serve on the day from 5 - 6.30 pm before the concert.  You also will not miss seeing your children in the concert. In fact, if you volunteer to help serve you get second row seats behind the chefs!!
