Good morning, Parents/Carers,
The next two weeks are proving to be extremely busy with lots of information to share.
Welcome Mr Hayes
We welcome Mr Jack Hayes a pre-service teacher who will be working with K/1B for the next 4 weeks.
School Non-Operational Days
Due to all staff and students being at Capers, Werris Creek Public School will be non-operational on Thursday, 6th and Friday, 7th November. We can still be contacted on the School Mobile Phone # 0488 248 250 for all enquiries.
Behaviour Focus

Life Skills Meal Deal
Due to Capers and the Yr 3-6 Sydney Excursion Our Meal Deal will not be running in Weeks 4 & 5 this Term. Look out for our next Meal Deal in Week 6.
Capers Rehearsals
Capers week has finally arrived, and we will be very busy back and forth from the TREC with our various groups for rehearsals. The Choir will rehearse on Wednesday, 5th November and then the whole school rehearsal on Thursday, 6th and Friday, 7th November. As this is a full-dress rehearsal, please ensure your child is at school by 8:00am so students can be ready in their black outfit and get to the TREC on time for rehearsals. Tickets for CAPERS are now available! Our students will be performing on the 7th and 8th of November. The best seating to watch our students perform is the left side of Side Tier T1 or the right side of Side Tier T3. We look forward to seeing you there! Yrs 3-6 Sydney Excursion
Our excursion to Sydney with Yrs 3-6 is next Monday, 10th November. If you have any questions with regards to the excursion, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kinder Transition
It was great to welcome our kinder transition students for 2026. We welcome you and your families to our school community and look forward to spending some time with our newest students this Term. Our Kinder students had a great time at their first official Kinder Transition Day last Friday. It is not too late to join Kinder Transition. Our next session is Friday, 14th November. We invite all children eligible to enroll in 2026 to attend. Enrolment packages are now available to collect from the office. If you require an enrolment package, please do not hesitate to contact the school office on 6768 7065.
