Extra-Curricular Success

Celebrating Student Achievements Beyond the Classroom

We love celebrating the incredible things our students accomplish beyond the classroom! Whether it is success in sport, the arts, community service, or any other area, we want to share their stories.

If your child has achieved something special, please let us know by emailing the details to sonia.powell@gsg.wa.edu.au

We look forward to showcasing their achievements in our newsletter!

Celebrating Crochet Success!

We are excited to share the amazing achievements of Year Six student Lenna Markle (Baudin) at last week’s Albany Agricultural Show. Lenna’s creativity and skill shone brightly as she took out 1st Prize in the Crochet – Novice category with her delightful cow creation, “Blossom.”

Adding to her success, Lenna also won hearts and votes, securing 1st place in the People’s Choice for the Bella Swainston Memorial Trophy with her stunning crochet rose and bee design.

Lenna’s passion for crochet does not stop there; she leads our Horizons - Crochet Club every Wednesday, inspiring others with her talent. These wins have given her even more excitement as she prepares for her Youth Market stall on 6 December. We can not wait to see what she creates next!
