From the Principal

We are of this community!
Last weekend, it was great joy to celebrate the very best of the Albany community at the annual Albany Agricultural Show. A big congratulations to the organising committee and a special thanks for their ongoing support of our school.
The Show is a wonderful way of showcasing the extraordinary opportunities for young people at our school and promote our culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging. It is a unique experience to share the very best of GSG with prospective families. It is also an opportunity to renew relationships with alumni, their parents and grandparents.
Beyond the face painting by our Year Eleven leaders, the amazing affogatos that kick start the day for many punters and the accolades awarded to our students; GSG's motivation to be present at the show goes much deeper.
We are of the Great Southern community. We are not our own community that is self-serving and insular. We are a school that actively engages in the life of the Great Southern and seeks to build meaningful relationships in support of social enterprises, businesses and community organisations.
GSG will always be present, actively engaged and give back to the Albany Agricultural Show. We are of the Great Southern community!
