I'm excited to announce that our kindergarten to foundation transition sessions begin this week. To make this transition smooth and inclusive, we have planned 5 sessions for our new foundation 2026 students and their families.
Our teachers have will run a different learning activity each session for 2026 Foundation students. The planned activities will have a focus on social emotional skills, literacy and numeracy, the perceptual motor programme and play based learning.
While students are engaged in these activity sessions, parents/carers will meet in the Welcome Area. Leadership staff will present school readiness information to support families with the transition into Meadows Primary School.

To any of our families who, for whatever reason, know they will be leaving and not returning to Meadows Primary School in 2026 to please let us know as soon as possible.
You can either let me know or our office staff. This information is helpful with staffing and student placements for the new school year. We want to ensure all decisions made for 2026 are accurate and relevant.
We are welcoming new families and carers to join our school community here at Meadows Primary School in 2026. Our inclusive environment supports every student to grow both academically and socially emotionally.
