SPECIALIST SHOWCASE!
Congratulations to our Year 5/6 students for their outstanding efforts in the Specialist Showcase! What amazing performances of 三匹のこぶた (The Three Little Pigs) in Japanese for our student community and staff.
The school values of ambition, creativity, courage and compassion were certainly on display, both on performance day and throughout the term. During Visual Arts, classes worked hard to create impressive costumes and props to enhance the show. In Performing Arts, performers, MCs, the sound and tech teams, front of house crew and stage ninjas collaborated to produce a polished and entertaining performance. The efforts of leads and understudies to rehearse and memorise lines in Japanese were clear and the origami characters made as gifts for young audience members were happily received.
Our appreciative audience also shared glowing reviews of the 5/6 performances. Well done, everyone!

SUNNY DAYS
The Year 1/2 students made the most of the spring sunshine and went outside to write our persuasive writing pieces about conserving the environment. We will be displaying these as part of our Inquiry Unit about Earth’s Resources.
Bike Education 2025
After having a bike safety check last week, this week the Year 5 students spent their Bike Education learning and practising new skills in the school grounds. The students learnt about safe ways to ride in large groups, some learnt how to ride confidently, everyone learnt or improved their riding skills and maneuverability and how to communicate with other riders. It was a beautiful day for riding! Thanks to Minh’s Dad, Vu, for coming to help us out. We still have many students without access to a bike so if you have a bike that you can spare for the months head, please contact the school about dropping it off for us. Thanks.
