Bandanna Day

Every year, Carlton North Primary School sell bandannas for Bandanna Day which raises money for Canteen. The SRC sold bandannas at recess all week and we raised  $1,216 for Canteen! An amazing effort! Thanks so much to everyone who helped with this amazing cause.

Canteen is an Australian charity that has provided free and tailored support to young people for almost 40 years. Whether young people (aged 12-25)  are dealing with their own diagnosis, a close family member’s cancer or the death of a loved one, Canteen provides a wide range of free support services to help them overcome the pecific challenges they're dealing with.

Canteen also provides services for parents deaing with cancer in their family. Our studies show that when parents are supported through cancer, their children cope much better as well.
