Snapshots from the week

🎶 Griffith University Conservatorium Success

A very exciting end to the school year for Jasmine, who has received an offer to study a Bachelor of Music – Performance (Classical Clarinet) at the Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium of Music for 2026.

This achievement follows a highly competitive audition and selection process, with only a small number of Queensland’s most talented young musicians receiving offers each year.

Jasmine was part of the very first Balmoral Music Academy class when she was in Year 8, and her success reflects both her dedication and the ongoing growth of our music program.

Congratulations to Jasmine and thank you to Ms Nunn and all the Balmoral music staff for their outstanding guidance and support.

Netball Super 7s

Our Netball Academy students hit the court at Wembley Park last week, competing in the Super 7s tournament!

Every game was a chance to test their strategies, support one another, and showcase their growth throughout the season.

Well done to all our teams on a fantastic effort! Below are some photos, and our girls with the trophy!

World Teachers Day

This morning we celebrated our incredible Balmoral teachers with a special breakfast to say thank you for the care, creativity, and dedication they bring to our classrooms every day.

A huge thank you to our generous supporters who helped make today possible — including Di Farmer MP and our local businesses who kindly donated food and supplies for the event. Your contribution helped us start the day with smiles, laughter, and a lot of gratitude! 🙌

To all teachers — thank you for everything you do to inspire, empower, and make a difference. 💫

🕰️ A Timely Visit!

Today in Period 1, our Maths students in C1-2 welcomed a special guest — a local jeweller and watchmaker who will be shared insights into the precision and craftsmanship behind timepieces ⏱️.
