Behaviour Focus

Our behaviour focus for Week 3 is Ready,

We are learning to:

• Be ready for CAPERS and Sydney Excursion

   

What does it look and sound like:

• Be resilient to keep dancing and singing
• Ready to dance and sing, be patient
• Be organised - notes in, parents know where you need to be, hair, make-up, costumes ready (CAPERS)

• Bag packed, everything checked off the list - clothes, toiletries, books/cards (Sydney excursion)

   

Capers

Congratulations to all of our students who performed at Capers last Friday and Saturday night.  We understand that it was a very big week and we are very proud of your behaviour and cooperation on the day.  Thank you to our parents/carers who ensured that all students were at the TRECC on time and ready to perform.  We thank you for your assistance so our students can enjoy the experience.  Thank you to all who attended the performance and supported our students by purchasing a ticket.  Also, a huge thank you to the P&C for your assistance backstage and providing games, dinner and transport for our kids. Thank you to our dedicated staff who worked together to make this possible. Last but not least, thank you to Mrs Abbott and Miss Overell for their tireless work in coordinating choreography, students, staff, transport and costumes.   The months, weeks and hours of work that was required for such a task is greatly appreciated.

Yrs 3-6 Sydney Excursion

Our Yrs 3-6 have arrived safely in Sydney and are visiting Taronga Zoo today.  Look out on Facebook for photos and updates throughout the week.

Remembrance Day

Today is Remembrance Day and we marked the occasion with a small service outside.  We acknowledge all those who have served our country especially those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for us to enjoy the freedom we experience each day.  Lest we forget.

Kinder Transition

Our next session is this Friday, 14th November. We invite all children eligible to enroll in 2026 to attend. Enrolment packages are now available to collect from the office.  If you require an enrolment package, please do not hesitate to contact the school office on 6768 7065.

Parent/Carer Survey

We invite you to take our Parent/Carer Survey on Werris Creek Public School by clicking on the link below.  This survey replaces the "Tell Them From Me" Survey and your response will be anonymous. Life Skills Meal Deal

The Life Skills Meal Deal will be back next Tuesday, 18th November with Pizzas and Jelly Cup Surprise on the menu.  Students in K-2 will receive their order forms today.  Those students in Yrs 3-6 who are on excursion will receive their order form on Monday, 17th November.  Please ensure all orders are received by the office by 9am next Tuesday, 18th November.
