St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal

JUST ONE WEEK TO GO to boost items for our St. Vincent de Paul hampers!!

We ask all students and families to kindly donate non-perishable food items that can be put into a Christmas Hamper to help those families who are struggling. Special thanks to those families who have already donated items. Some suggestions are non-perishable basic items such as noodles, cereals, biscuits, muesli bars, tea, coffee, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. In addition to these items, they are hoping for some items to help people in need celebrate Christmas, such as chocolates, lollies, soft drink, Christmas puddings etc.  Please help us share the Christmas spirit of giving to those in need. Every item counts. Donations can be made to the class teachers or at either school office. A special thank you to the families who have generously donated items so far!

The closing date for hamper donations is Wednesday 11th December.

St Ed's Golf Day

Our St Ed’s Golf Day teed off in style, with 96 players across 24 teams swinging their way through a sun-soaked day of fun and friendly competition. From dodging bunkers to sinking impressive putts, the course was alive with laughter and camaraderie.

This fantastic day wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible efforts of the Robertson and Burrows families, who seamlessly organised every detail. Our amazing P&F committee Lauren, Mel, Bec, Mrs Hatton and Mrs Sheridan along with Daniel & Darren from CFL expertly cooking up steaks and sausages on the bbq (donated by Teys and Lucy Robertson from LHB Insurance Services) before the golfers tee off ensuring tummies were full. The action didn’t stop at the 18th hole! Karissa and Jason Burrows kept the 19th hole buzzing with the 100 clubs and raffles, while Cindy captured every memorable moment behind the lens. Huge Congrats to our winning team - Jo Foster, Peter Foster, Jade Thompson and Chris Key. Thanks to our major sponsors - KRJ Constructions, Perform with Power, Peterson Roofing, Connect Communication and Electronics, Robert Haskard Painting, and Teys Tamworth. Thank you also to the other small businesses for your sponsorship and prizes for our Golf Day (see the full list of sponsors in the photo below).

Our Golf Day raised an amazing $3,000! A huge congratulations to all our raffle winners, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the day a success. Our St Ed’s community continues to shine, both on and off the course!
