Advent

This Sunday is the second Sunday of Advent. We light the second purple candle, typically called the "Bethlehem Candle." This candle symbolises faith; reminding us of Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem.

St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal

Please give generously to our St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal. We ask all students and families to donate non-perishable food items that can be put into a Christmas hamper to help those families who are in need in our community. Donations can be made to the class teachers or at either school office.

The closing date for donations is Wednesday 11th December.

St. Edward's Parish Christmas Pageant

Father Roel has invited any students who would like to be a part of the Christmas Nativity Play at the 6.00pm Mass on Christmas Eve to make contact with the school.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to make connections with the Parish and celebrate in Jesus' birth. Please let Mrs Clarke know as soon as possible via email: sclarke@arm.catholic.edu.au

Mrs Clarke will oversee any rehearsals prior to the Christmas break and costumes will be provided. We would like to have a few parent helpers to dress the children in their costumes on the night.

Parish News

Please join us for one of the Christmas Masses.

LIBRARY

The end of term is coming around super quick and in the Library we are starting to get ready for our end of year stocktake. If your child receives an overdue notice, could you please assist in returning the book/s ASAP to our library. If you believe there is an error on the notice, please send me a quick email to let me know:  cmichell@arm.catholic.edu.au
