MICHELLE’S ARTWORK
All students from Prep to Year Six contributed to our collaborative artwork that was given to Michelle on Friday. This artwork is titled ‘A Garden of Love’ and represents the care and dedication Michelle has shown towards each and every student who has come under her care.
The artwork was inspired by a picture storybook called ‘Tiny Wonders’, written and illustrated by Sally Soweol Sal.
Just as the little girl brings colour and joy to the world by nurturing her seeds, Michelle has always encouraged her students to reach their full potential and flourish.
Each flower that was selected and drawn by the students has an individual message for Mrs Moore.
I have created a table listing the students' names and the flowers they selected to draw. I will send this to Michelle along with a copy of the book for her to keep. Michelle will enjoy reading the messages behind each flower. Here is the chart from the book.
You can listen to the story on Story Box Library. Remember that our school has an account. It is such a fabulous resource, I encourage you to download the Story Box Library App.
