Prep Room News

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We have put up our Christmas tree and decorated it. We have been making paper snow globes, completing Christmas dot-to-dots, making stained glass shapes, tree murals, pin art, directed drawings and lots more! We have been having some fun in the 'play room' and packing up our classroom to get ready to bring our work home.

Thank you so much Preps for a great year of fun and learning in 2024! Thank you Prep families for your support over the year.  I am so proud of the student's achievements. They have definitely come a long way since their first day of school! I look forward to teaching them again next year in Grade One! Merry Christmas everyone! Have a fun, safe holidays!

Christmas Concert

The Prep students were VERY excited to participate in the whole school Christmas Concert. They have been singing ‘Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree‘ for weeks in the classroom while they worked! They also loved singing Rudolph and Feliz Navidad. It was a special time with our buddies when we sang the Graduation song. We hope you all had a very enjoyable night.

Buddies

In the last few weeks of school we made 'season trees' with our grade 5/6 buddies. We learnt about the 4 seasons and the months that are in each one.

We made puppets for the story of The Little Red Hen. We read the story aloud and used our puppets to tell the story.  We also completed a book study on The Sloth Who Came To Stay.

                                     See you in 2025!
