Learning and Curriculum Primary - Stage 3

As the 2024 academic year draws to a close, life in the Junior School is busier than ever! Last week we welcomed the Year 5 2025 cohort, who got their first taste of life at SPC. Thank you to the many Year 6 students who gave up time on their weekend to show our incoming students the very best of our College. This week, our Year 6 students participated in a two-day Year 7 Transition Program which was carefully designed by Miss Capobianco. We look forward to marking the transition from primary school to Year 7 at tomorrow night’s Thanksgiving Mass. This Friday’s Co-curricular Presentation is an opportunity to recognise the achievements of our extremely talented students beyond the classroom, and next Tuesday we celebrate all aspects of College life at Speech Night.

Stage 3 is an extremely busy place, and we would like to thank all our staff who work tirelessly throughout the year to provide so many wonderful opportunities for our students. We wish all families a happy and holy Christmas period, and we look forward to seeing you all in 2025.

6 Red Day of the Notables

Last Wednesday, it was wonderful to welcome many parents and carers from 6 Red to celebrate the annual Day of the Notables display. Students from 6 Red did a wonderful job in researching an eminent figure and creating an engaging display to share with parents, teachers and students. The depth of knowledge that each student had about their notable figure was impressive! Congratulations and thanks must go to Ms Osorio Narvaez and Ms Mazoudier for their leadership and organisation of this fantastic learning experience.

Year 6 Academic Assessment Results

Parents and carers of Year 6 students are invited to view their son’s results from the recent Academic Assessments on the Parent Portal under the ‘Academic Reports’ section.
