Devotion

This week at school we think about peace.

On Monday after recess, we gathered together to commemorate Remembrance Day having the understanding that peace is a big part. Today Year 3/4R shared the message of peace in chapel.

At a time when there is so much heartache in the world all we want is peace.

Where is your ‘peace’ place? Do you have a place where you can go just to stop? It can be hard to find peace and quiet at times.

The Bible verse this week speaks of the peace that God gives. He tells us not to be anxious and worry but to take everything to him in thought and prayer.

Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

May you find peace through your relationship with God, knowing that you can turn to him in time of need.

Blessings!
