Senior School News

Wow, we can’t believe we are about to commence Headstart classes for 2025. The year has flown by!

Thank you Senior School families for supporting your child over the past few weeks during their exam period. The revision techniques the students are fine tuning will certainly assist them with their studies in 2025.

Headstart Expectations

Monday 2 December

All students are expected to arrive at school by 8:30 am so they can settle into their new lockers and attend Period 1. Students should make their way to their Period one class where the roll will be taken and then to the VCE Centre (Year 11s 2025) or VCE Centre (Year 12s 2025) for a Year Level Assembly with their Student Manager and Director of Senior School. All students should attend this assembly, even if they have a study period one on their timetable.

Attendance

Attendance during Headstart is vital as most students will have eight classes per subject in the two weeks from the 2 - 13 December. A substantial amount of the curriculum will be covered in those two weeks. Teachers will be issuing Holiday Homework to be completed over the break. Some students may have an assessment early in Term 1 that covers content taught in Headstart.
