Year Ten Visual Arts students were very lucky this week to have sculptor, Kevin Draper and painter, Indra Geidans visit their class. Kevin and Indra asked if the students would draw them after seeing their portraiture work in the Albany Town Hall. 

Students drew portraits of Kevin (while Indra drew with the class) and at the end of the session Indra and Kevin chose two works to take with them. Making the choice was very difficult as the works were all fantastic, Kevin and Indra talked about both having been judges in art prizes and the processes this invloves. They chose the works of Jean Burgess and Charlotte Stephens, both these students received vouchers for their artworks. 

Kevin’s most recent public sculpture can be seen in location outside the Albany Entertainment Centre!
