As the year comes to a close, the PFA would love to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who have helped make this year another spectacular one!

From the annual Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls, a raging disco, BBQs, and of course, the Twilight Fair, 2024 has been an absolute blast! None of these events for our children would be possible without the generous help from our volunteers! We appreciate every spare hand we can get during these events, and we haven’t been disappointed this year.

Kellie McDonald and her Graduation team have done an extraordinary job for the 2024 Graduation. The Barn theme was amazing and if you haven’t had a chance to check out the extravaganza try and pop your head in and take a peak while it’s still set up!

We have the Christmas BBQ this Tuesday, 10th December. The PFA will be hosting its annual BBQ, serving from 4:30pm. An email was sent out earlier in the week for parents to volunteer their time in short blocks to ensure the evening runs smoothly and fairly for all families involved. Please check over the list and don’t hesitate to put your name down in an empty slot!

Many of you will know BBQ Belinda. She has been a constant face at Holy Cross for the last few years, however, her time here is coming to an end. Please don’t forget to thank her at her last Holy Cross BBQ next week! Belinda isn’t the only friendly face leaving at the end of the year. We have quite a few of our PFA members finishing their time in 2024. They have all been valuable team members and so many of the events we have held for the children wouldn’t have been possible without their hard work and dedication. 

We will need a new face for BBQ’ing in 2025 so if you think this could be you, please reach out to one of our friendly members for more information!

The bi-weekly Bake Sales will continue in 2025. A big thank you to the Grade 2 parents who generously baked for last week's sale. We apologise to the Grade 1 and Prep Classes who missed out this year but be assured you will be up first next year!

Again, we thank all of you for your support. We understand how busy life can be, especially around the impending crazy season, but we appreciate you! All your time and effort has made this possible, and we are so lucky to have such an amazing community at Holy Cross.

We hope you have a beautiful and safe Christmas and New Year, and we look forward to seeing you all for another fun-filled year in 2025!
