School Sports - What's Happening

CONGRATULATIONS

A big congratulations to Liam Gladman who represented Holy Rosary at the State Athletics Championship held in Melbourne on Wednesday. Liam had to show great resilience and manage the difficult and hot conditions to run his 1500m race in, including a time delay due to the thunderstorms, resulting in his race being pushed back from 5pm to 6:30pm.

Liam achieved an incredible run breaking his personal best time and finishing an overall 13th in the race. To be the 13th fastest, 11-year-old boy, in all of Victoria for the 1500m event is an outstanding effort and everyone at Holy Rosary is very proud of his efforts. Good luck as your journey in running continues Liam.

COLOUR RUN

Congratulations to Archie King from 3MM who has raised the most money at Holy Rosary for the Colour Run to date. Being the highest fundraiser Archie now gets to choose a teacher or teachers to be slimed at our school Colour Run next Friday. Archie has chosen Miss McKenzie, Miss O'Sullivan and Miss Turk to be slimed. Good luck teachers... We thank all families for your support and fundraising for this event and you are all welcome to come along and watch the Colour Run at 2:30pm on Friday. Fundraising closes on Friday 15th November, any last minute donations are greatly appreciated.
