Cultural Week

Over the last week the SRC ran our first ever cultural week! It began on Thursday and started off great with identity art with Ms Flandez. 

On Monday, Ms Ball hosted cultural ‘Just Dance’ where everyone had a lot of fun dancing to different songs and dance! 

To finish the week off, on Tuesday, S.R.C held a themed dress day with the theme of dressing up in your cultural clothes. Donations raised on Tuesday will be going to World Vision. 

During Tuesday lunch time, parents were invited to bring in foods from their culture for students to sample. It was great to see the diversity in our school represented!

Cultural week was a great success.  Thank you to all the teachers and students for helping organise such a fun event! A special thank you to all of the families and staff who donated food on Tuesday, we appreciate the effort you made to support student leadership and celebrate cultural diversity.
