Athletics Carnival

On Tuesday 8 August, staff and students travelled to Knox Athletics Track for our annual House Athletics Carnival. It was fantastic to see so many staff and students dressed up in their House colours and competing in multiple events across the day.

Students had the opportunity to participate in various different track events including Sprints and Long Distance as well as multiple field events that included throws and jumps. Students also had the opportunity to participate in a range of novelty events, that were run by our VM students.

At the end of the day, it was Byrne House who proved to be victorious on the day, dominating in both the race events, the novelties and costumes.

Coleby Paton: U14 Boys 400M (58.75)

Hailey Buckley: U16 Girls 200M (28.01)

Ryan Morris & Jackson Peters: U16 Boys High Jump (1.72M & 1.71M)

Holly Makaa: U15 Girls 800M (2 Minutes 42s)
