Wellbeing at Moriac

We have had a lot to celebrate in the Wellbeing area at Moriac this term from our Moriac Star celebrations, Green Compass posts and a number of student achievements. 

Moriac Star Celebrations

We have had a huge number of students celebrate receiving Blue, Silver and Gold stars this term. Our students have been amazing at explaining what they are receiving these for and explain the value they are displaying. 

Green Compass Posts

We love sharing with families wonderful achievements of our students so you may have received SMS messages letting you know your child has been recognised for a Green Compass post. 

Zones of Regulation

You may have heard some of our students talking about the Zones of Regulation being discussed and talked about in some of our classrooms. 

As part of a soft launch into the initiative, we have been looking at giving names to our emotions and talking about establishing a toolbox of strategies to use when we are feeling these emotions.
