Year 7    Chinese program incursion Term 3 

During the Chinese program incursion in Week 5, the year 7 and 8 students started the day by practising some routine exercises of Kung Fu (martial arts). They learned from “Shi Fu Damien (Master Damien, the Kung Fu instructor)” the courtesies of practising martial arts, as well as some moves for defence. 

Guided by the staff members from the Chinese museum, Year 7 students experienced a variety of ancient inventions in Chinese history. At the meantime, Year 8 students discussed and reflected on how to build a strong self from within and how to prevent bullying happening in our community. The students completed the incursion by making Chinese knotting bracelets.
