Next Monday 4th September is a Student Free Day. Our teachers will be involved in a Planning Day. Planning Days involve the teachers in a team working together to plan for the next term of work. This includes detailed sequences of lessons and lesson plans, organising excursions, planning inquiry units of work, and allocating relevant and timely assessment tasks.
Parent-Teacher interviews will be conducted on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th of September. These will be held online via Webex. Please see Compass instructions on how to book. To enable the successful running of these interviews students will have a half day curriculum day on Tuesday 12th of September. Students will need to be picked up from school at 12.50pm.

Congratulations to all of our students – once again Wheelers Hill has had 100% of our students complete the Premiers Reading Challenge. Certificates will be sent out in Term 4. A massive thank you to Miss Mason and Lamia for all their work promoting the reading challenge and assisting students to log books.
Our students read a grand total of 25,576 books which is truly outstanding. Our top read books are books linked to our two Author visits this year. Having ‘real life’ authors visit out school has obviously been quite inspirational to our students.
A special congratulations to these students who read 100 (or more) books during the Reading Challenge.
