Year 10 Christian Service

Last Friday, one of our Year 10 PDW classes tested their cooking skills as they cooked three meals for the Salvos. They cooked spaghetti Bolognese, chilli con carne and chicken biryani. Thank you to Mr Kosovic, Mr Dean and Miss Villella for assisting.

Feast of the Assumption

Tuesday, 15 August

On Tuesday morning we gathered as a College community to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption. This feast is important for the Church because the body and soul of the Blessed Virgin Mary was taken into heaven after the end of her earthly life. Mary is seen as the first disciple of Jesus, the Mother of the Church, and a model for all disciples. Today, we reflect on Mary’s role as a mother, reminding us to be thankful for our own mothers.

I would like to thank the Very Reverend Fr Vincent Glynn (former Chaplain of Trinity), for his words of encouragement and wisdom, reminding us to cherish our own mothers, and fathers.  

To our Extraordinary Ministers, our readers, students taking up the offertory, our reverent altar servers, the ever-talented chorale, our groundsman, and staff who assisted or helped set up; and to staff, students and parents who participated in this special Eucharistic celebration.  Thank you and God bless!

Friday Community Mass

Another lovely turnout at our 8:00am Mass this week. A special thank you to our readers from 8.5 and 8.6 for hosting today’s Mass. We love seeing our regulars also attending. A special thank you to Fr Edmond, for not only today’s Eucharistic celebration, but for supporting TC with all our Masses in Fra Oscar’s Absence. We are always privileged to have the Redemptorist priests with us. Please remember that everyone is welcome to attend our Friday morning Mass. Thank you and God bless!

Year 7 Mass

Next Tuesday, 22 August

Next Tuesday the Year 7 cohort will meet in the Chapel at 8:30am to celebrate Mass. Mr Callum Walley’s PCG will be hosting this Mass for the Cohort.  Family and friends are all welcome.  Morning tea will be served after Mass for all family and friends.
