About the role

AFSystems have a position available for an Agri-Food Mechanical / Welder Parts & System Installer.

 

Some duties include:

  • Maintenance of Grain Moving Equipment.
  • Installation of Grain Moving Equipment.
  • Travelling to various areas of Western Australia to attend Client Farms & Factories.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • You will need to have a current valid driver's license and your own reliable transport.
  • Well Presented and Punctual.
  • Skilled with Hand Tools.
  • Welding / Fabrication Skills.
  • Understands the need for Safe Work Practices.
  • Think outside the square – look for a solution.
  • Shows Initiative.

Desirable

  • Interest to work On-site and Off-site.
  • Have some customer service experience.
  • Role based in Bunbury, but able to work away from home for periods at a time.

Margaret River Rural Contractors 

Interested in a career in rural fencing? Margaret Rive Rural Contractors are a small rural fencing and earthmoving business located in the Busselton/Margaret River area and are looking at employing someone to add to their fencing side of the business. 

 

The majority of the works are in the Busselton and Margaret River areas and involve general farm fencing such as removing old fences and installing new fences by use of machinery such as a tractor and positrack, and manual labour.

 

This role has the potential to progress into a supervisory position, including the use of a company work vehicle. Additionally it offers the opportunity to obtain a truck driver's license, which would be applicable to this role.

 

The applicant must be reliable with an excellent work ethic. Hours of work are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
