Principal Post

 Dear Families,

The school is a buzz preparing for the upcoming concert. All the students are becoming familiar with their dance routines. It will be a fabulous couple of nights! Don't forget tickets go on sale tomorrow.

Andrew has been checking in from the Principal Conference and sharing some of the wonderful insights he has gained.

We look forward to Book Week next week and can't wait to see the creative costumes that our students wear.

Please remember to join us for the Parade  -

Concert Attendance Notice

Our school concert is a special event that celebrates the hard work and talents of all our students. It is an expectation that every child participates as part of their class performance.

If your child is unable to attend because your family is away on vacation, please notify the Office or your Teacher as soon as possible and provide the reason for their absence.

TICKETS: On sale in Term 3 (date TBC) – Tickets are $25 each.

Performing students do not require a ticket.

Ticket prices have increased slightly this year due to SJV engaging the Kinect 2 Dance group, who are supporting us in our concert preparation.

The concert will be professionally recorded by a new company, StageFright. A high-quality video will be available for families to purchase, further details will be provided in the newsletter later in the term.

Many of our students have begun the 2025 Spelling Bee. Students taking part in the Spelling Bee were be given 30 random words from their reading level word list. They have 25 seconds to spell each word. Students may not be familiar with all the words they are asked to spell. However, exposing students to new words and their definitions will help expand their vocabularies and encourage them to continue reading.
