Springtime Concert Sept 8 - 6:30pm - 8pm

Our annual Springtime Concert is right around the corner!

Please save the date and come to the MPH to enjoy some of our finest Secondary School musicians sharing their hard work, creativity and talent through music! With over 30 performances this year, you will not want to miss these incredible performances! See the invite below.

Secondary Assembly Performance

At the Secondary Assembly this week we saw a musical performance by Maya Wise (Year 9), who played "Cherry Wine" by the Irish artist Hozier on acoustic guitar.

Maya performed extremely well, presenting the song's detail with delicacy and expression. Maya showed a lot of focus, control and musical sensitivity to play the finger-picking. Thank you Maya Wise for enchanting us with your music.

St Cecilia Examinations Piano Exams and Year 2 Class Concert

We would like to thank Margaret Monro, Tomoko Niwa and Delena Gaffney for their organisation of the Year 2 class piano concert last week. I am told their students performed exceptionally well.

Many of our school's extra-curricular piano students have been diligently preparing for their formal St Cecilia piano exams this Saturday. A lot of practise and preparation goes into these exams and it is an admirable challenge to accept for any young musician. We wish you all well and thank our piano teachers once again for their hard work in preparing their students.
