Principal's News

Dear Families,
It’s been another wonderful few weeks here at St John’s, filled with learning, laughter and community spirit. Our students have been involved in so many exciting opportunities recently, it’s such a joy to see their enthusiasm and pride in all that they do.
Remembrance Day Liturgy – Monday 10 November We warmly invite all families to join us for our Remembrance Day Liturgy on Monday 10 November at 2:45pm in the Hall. This special gathering will be led by our students as we take time to reflect and pray for those who have served our country.
Grandparents Liturgy – Friday 14 November Next week, we are looking forward to welcoming our Grandparents and Special Friends for the Grandparents Liturgy on Friday 14 November. The morning will begin with a Liturgy in the Hall at 9:05am, followed by classroom visits and activities until 10:30am. This is always a beautiful celebration of our community, and we encourage everyone to come along and share in this special day.
Highlight from last week - Japanese Day
Our Japanese Day was a huge success! A very big thank you to Ayako Mizushima for her planning and creativity, and to our staff for their support throughout the day. Students loved immersing themselves in Japanese culture through cooking, calligraphy, origami and games. The joy and colour across the day was a true highlight of the term.
Kaboom Sports Today’s Kaboom Sports was another incredible day of teamwork and fun. It was wonderful to see students from St Joseph’s Nagambie joining us as everyone enjoyed a full afternoon of active games, challenges, and laughter. Thank you to Mr McKernan for coordinating such a vibrant event that truly captured our St John’s spirit!
Have Your Say – Parent Feedback Survey
As I begin my journey as Principal of St John’s, I’d love to hear from you our families -about what you value most in our school and what you’d like to see improved as we plan for the future. This short Parent Feedback Survey aims to capture your voice around:
- What you love about St John’s
- What makes our school community special
- What areas or facilities you’d like to see enhanced or improved
Your feedback will help shape our next steps, from classroom learning spaces to the everyday experiences that make school life meaningful for our students. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by scanning the QR code below. The survey will remain open until Friday 8th November.
Take care,
Sam Kerlin Principal – St John’s School, Euroa
