📚✨ Book Week at OSHC ✨📚

Last week we celebrated Book Week with plenty of fun and laughter!

Our OSHC staff dressed up as characters from the classic Little Miss and Mr Men series by Roger Hargreaves. Educators had such a great time creating the “costumes” (more like the book cover), and sharing the experience with the children.

The children really enjoyed guessing who we were meant to be — and after lots of giggles, they eventually figured it out! While drawing might not be our greatest strength and our display could have been a little more polished, what truly mattered was the fun we had together and the joy of celebrating books and stories.

Book Week is always a wonderful opportunity to inspire children’s love of reading, and we’re so glad we could share this special experience with them.

Spring Magic Market – Wool Donations Needed! 🌸✨

As the Spring Magic Market is fast approaching, we are getting ready to add some colour and fun to the event! We are asking families for wool donations so the children can make pompoms to be used as decorations.

This will be a fun and creative activity where the children can take part in the preparations, feel connected to our community, and enjoy the magic spirit of this special event.

Any wool donations—big or small—will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us make the Spring Magic Market extra magical! 

• At roll call, children will hand their device to the educator in charge.
• Devices will be placed in a secure tub.
• The tub is then locked away in the OSHC office.
• Devices will be returned at the end of the session by the educator in charge of the middle room.

We appreciate your support in keeping OSHC a safe and respectful environment for all children.

Our September School Holiday Program bookings are now open! We have an exciting line-up of excursions and activities planned, and places are filling up quickly.

To avoid disappointment, we encourage families to make their bookings as soon as possible. Some days may reach capacity well before the program begins, so please don’t leave it to the last minute.

We can’t wait to welcome the children for a fun, engaging, and adventure-filled holiday program!
