Wellbeing

WEEKLY WELLBEING ACTION 'Go for a walk and take time to notice the little things.'
I am excited to step into the role of Wellbeing Leader this year. Having been a staff member of our school for over five years, it is a privilege to continue supporting our students and families in this new capacity. I want to acknowledge the outstanding work of our previous Wellbeing Leader, Ms Antonella. Her dedication and care to nurturing the wellbeing of our students and staff made a lasting impact on our school. I am grateful for the strong foundations she has built and look forward to continuing this important work.
Feeling Safe And Calm Helps Us To Learn
At Trinity, we all play a part in creating a safe, respectful and positive school environment by following our Positive Behaviours for Learning expectations.
By being respectful, responsible and active learners, students help build a strong sense of belonging and support positive learning for everyone.
In addition to our Positive Behaviours for Learning, we have our Trinity Expectations. These guide students to follow directions, speak appropriately, move safely, care for property, listen to others, and keep hands, feet and objects to themselves. Each class has been discussing what this looks like, feels like and sounds like, both indoors and outdoors and they will continue to revisit our Positive Behaviours for Learning and expectations regularly. We encourage families to discuss these expectations at home and support students to apply them consistently, helping to strengthen positive behaviours and shared responsibility between school and home.
If at any time you would like to chat about Student Wellbeing at Trinity, or you have any questions or concerns about your child, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher or myself.
