Each year in February, we hold our School Council elections. The timeline for this year's election is as follows:
| Notice of election and call for nominations | Wednesday 11th February 2026 |
| Closing date for nominations | Wednesday 18th February 2026 |
| Date by which the list of candidates and nominators will be posted | Monday 23rd February 2026 |
| Date by which ballot papers will be prepared and distributed | On or before Thursday 26th February 2026 |
| Close of ballot | Thursday 5th March 2025 |
| Vote count | Friday 6th March 2026 |
| Declaration of poll | Monday 9th March 2026 |
| Special council meeting to co-opt community members (the principal will preside) | Wednesday 18th March 2026 |
| First council meeting to elect office bearers (the principal will preside) | Wednesday 18th March 2026 |
A Fact Sheet, Notice of Election and Parent Self Nomination Forms are attached to this newsletter; staff Nomination Forms will be sent to staff. Please contact the office if you would like a Self Nomination form emailed to you or you would like a hard copy of the form.
School Council Meetings
The next School Council meeting is Wednesday 18th February at 7.30pm. This is the last meeting of the current School Council.
The dates of the next Committee meetings are as follows:
Buildings, Grounds and Sustainability: Thursday 12th February - 6.30pm
Finance: Monday 16th February - 6.30pm
Community Voice: Parent Volunteer video – To be sent to all parents the week of Monday 9th February.
Parent Association: TBC
