What an Amazing Start!

What a blessing it was to enjoy a cooler morning today.

It has been a privilege to watch students reconnect with their peers and with staff. This week, our focus has been on establishing routines and developing a shared understanding of school and classroom norms. There has been rich discussion about what it means to be Safe, Supportive Learners, a statement that reflects our core values of Love, Optimism, and Creativity. These values have already been on full display over the past two days!

As a Leadership Team, we look forward to supporting you and your children throughout the year ahead.

Something to Consider ...

Late last year we received this letter from the Premier and Education Minister that we would like to share with you.

Wait Mate is an initiative designed to reduce smartphone use among children and reshape social norms around early phone adoption.

This program aims to empower parents to unite, delay smartphone introduction, and support each other through shared commitment. State Government funding will provide the opportunity for Wait Mate to present to parents at all South Australian primary schools during 2026-27, and all secondary schools during 2027-28.

As a school we will continue to work with other support bodies regarding the implementation.  I will keep you informed as we receive information.
