This week has been all about getting to know one another and establishing new routines. We are absolutely thrilled with the way our Grade 5/6 students have begun the year, showing wonderful enthusiasm, positivity, and a great sense of fun. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic year ahead!
Our 5/6 students have a clear understanding of our school values, and these have been revisited this week as part of our ‘start up’ program. This shared focus helps ensure that students and teachers are aligned in their expectations so that positive relationships can be established and maximum learning achieved.
Students also received their new netbooks this week, which we will begin using in the classroom. Over the coming days, we’ll be setting up programs and logins, as well as learning important cyber safety skills, before the devices are sent home.
Warm regards,
5/6 Team
