RPS 2025 Yearbook Cover Competition
This year, we are very excited to announce that our yearbook will be professionally printed by My YearBook! Over the past two years, we created and printed our own yearbooks in-house as we trialled the process. Now, with the experience we’ve gained, we’re ready to take the next step and have a professionally designed and bound yearbook to celebrate our amazing school community.
Selection Process
- The Junior School Council will carefully review all entries.
- The winning design will appear on the front cover.
- The runner-up design will be featured on the back cover.
Student Checklist
Before handing in your design, check that you have:
- Written “Rosanna Primary School 2025 Yearbook” on the front.
- Used pen or texta for all outlines (no grey lead).
- Put my name on the back of my page, not the front.
- Made my design bright, colourful and creative.
- Drawn it the right way up: portrait A4 (tall, not wide).
Some Previous Examples....
Shadow and Blizzard
Hi to the school community.
I have some very sad news to report. Unfortunately Shadow died on Monday morning.
This is very sad news. Shadow was much loved chicken and lots of the kids reported her as their favourite.
She was a quiet chicken. She was on the bottom of the pecking order, and would hang back and let the others get first dibs on the veggie scraps. This led to a lot of kids wanting to feed her first, and making sure she got her fair share.
Also - Blizzard is unwell at the moment and she is being looked after at home by a parent from the school who is also a vet. What a lucky chicken to be taken care of so well.
So Ginger and Marshmallow are the only 2 chickens at school at the moment.
We are all feeling sad about Shadow dying. If any children would like to talk to me about her, I’m always happy to chat about the chickens.
Cheers Jackie
Lost Property
Please make sure you check lost property at the end of term assembly. All of this will be on a table in the yard for you to check through.
Smile Squad Drink Bottles
Can I put the water bottle in the dishwasher?
Smile Squad water bottles are not dishwasher safe. Handwashing is recommended to avoid distortion.
Can I recycle the water bottle?
Smile Squad water bottles are made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and are 100% BPA free. The body of the water bottle is recyclable and can be placed in your mixed recyclables bin.
The straw and lid are made from polypropylene. Although it is recyclable, many recyclers do not accept it. Please place the lid and straw in your household rubbish bin.
