Choral Speaking Success at the Wagga Wagga Eisteddfod

What a proud moment for our school community! The 2025 Wagga Wagga Eisteddfod provided our students the opportunity to showcase months of practice, teamwork, and dedication in the Choral Speaking sections, and they rose to the occasion beautifully.

Our youngest performers, in K/1, delighted both judges and the audience alike, taking first place in the K-2 section. Not to be outdone, both 2/3 and 4/5/6 gave outstanding performances, each earning a very close second place, finishing just one point behind the winners.

Choral speaking is so much more than performance; it strengthens memory, builds confidence, develops clear speaking and listening skills, and teaches the importance of working together as one voice. These are skills our students will carry into all areas of their learning.

These results are a testament not only to the talent and effort of our students but also to the encouragement of their teachers and the support of our families. More than trophies and placings, it was heartwarming to see our students perform with confidence, joy, and pride as they represented our school.

Congratulations to everyone involved, you have made us all very proud!
