10. Being open to learningAnnie is receiving our valuable learner award for being an excellent communicator.
Within our class, Annie would have to be one of our top contributors to class discussions.
She is an active listener. Annie can genuinely listen to others and understand what they are saying or asking in a discussion.
She expresses her ideas with concise words and easy-to-understand language for her peers, often clarifying ideas for the whole class.
Annie shows empathy and respect for other points of view and this helps her build connections with her peers, but also with others within the school community.
She listens to, reflects and acts on feedback. Annie has a great memory for remembering advice and feedback she has received, so that she can act on them in the next lesson.
She is honest and confident in her conversations with peers and adults alike.
Annie, keep communicating honestly and being yourself as being a good communicator is a skill for life. We love to see your personality shine through.
