Keeping Our Playground Clean and Fun for Everyone
Over the next two weeks, our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) focus will be all about keeping our playground and eating areas clean and tidy. While an important part of playtime is having fun, we also want to make sure our school grounds stay clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
Here’s what we’ll focus on:
- Using bins for rubbish: We’re reminding everyone to put their rubbish in the bin and keep food scraps off the ground.
- Cleaning up after eating: It's important to clean up after ourselves to keep the playground tidy and enjoyable for everyone.
- Eating in the right areas: Each stage has a designated eating area, and sticking to those helps keep things organised and clean.
- Taking pride in our school: A clean playground shows respect for our school, our friends, and the environment.
Looking out for each other: We’ll encourage students to kindly remind one another to use the bins and help keep shared spaces tidy.
Our goal is to create a playground where everyone feels proud to play, eat and relax. By working together, we can make sure it's always clean, safe and welcoming.
We know that sometimes it’s easy to forget when you’re having fun, but even small actions like picking up your rubbish or reminding a friend to use the bin make a big difference!
